Cookies
Last updated 4 August 2026
We keep this short because our cookie use is short. Free tools require no account and set no cookies at all — the table below only applies once you sign in for a Pro feature.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __session | Clerk (auth) | Keeps you signed in between page loads and visits. | Session / up to 7 days |
| __client_uat | Clerk (auth) | Tracks when your session was last updated, so Clerk can refresh it correctly. | Session |
Why we don't ask for cookie consent
Both cookies above are strictly necessary — they exist purely to keep you signed in, with no tracking or advertising purpose. Under UK/EU cookie law (PECR/ePrivacy), strictly-necessary cookies don't require a consent banner. If we ever add analytics or a language switcher that sets a non-essential cookie, we'll add a real consent banner and update this table before it ships — not after.
Managing or blocking cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser's settings. Since our only cookies are the sign-in ones above, blocking them means you'll be signed out and unable to use Pro features — free tools are unaffected either way, since they never depend on a cookie.
Do Not Track
We don't currently run any tracking that a Do Not Track signal would apply to, so there's nothing for it to disable — but we'll honor it if we ever add analytics.
