Terms & Conditions
Last updated 4 August 2026
1. Using the service
By using iGuardPDF's free tools or Pro features, you agree to these terms. Free tools are available without an account; Pro features require a paid account.
2. Your files, your ownership
You retain full ownership of anything you upload. We claim no rights over your files beyond what's needed to run the tool you requested, and files are deleted after processing (see our Privacy Policy).
3. Acceptable use
Don't use iGuardPDF to process content you don't have the right to handle, to attempt to break, scrape, or overload the service, or for anything illegal. We reserve the right to suspend access for abuse.
4. Pro subscriptions
Pro features are billed on a subscription basis where noted at checkout. Feature availability may change as the product develops — we'll communicate material changes to paying customers directly.
5. No guarantee against determined copying
We don't claim a document protected by iGuardPDF can't be copied, photographed, or leaked by a determined person — nobody honestly can make that claim. What Pro features provide is traceability and revocation: identifying which copy leaked and cutting off further access, not an unbreakable barrier.
6. Service provided "as is"
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it reliable and accurate, but we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
This page is a plain-language description of our terms and isn't a substitute for independent legal advice specific to your use of the service.
